Java/Mobile App Development

Expanding Maine company in need of talented Java/mobile app developers. This company builds nearly all of their own business software in-house and is pushing the technology envelop on the web for their world-wide customer base. Working at this company is a personal and career building venture.
The current need is for a Java Developer with a background in building both mobile and desktop enterprise apps. An ideal background is experience with full life-cycle development building distributed applications using Java, Web Services, JPA, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, and Swing.

Other skills:

• 3+ years Java programming in Java 6
• HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Java EE technology (JPA, EJB3, JAX-RS, JAX-WS, etc.).
• Ability to deliver functionality in a fast-paced environment as part of an Agile team: Scrum experience a plus.
• Mobile development experience (HTML5 or iOS) a plus.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware (OSB, ODSI, SOA Suite) a plus.
• Swing experience a plus.

Configuration Management Contract: Eclipse

Overview: customization and support of configuration management and embedded cross target build systems on Linux servers, along with installing operating system software components, third-party applications and writing custom integration scripting. Approx 1 month.

Configuration management knowledge:

  • Working knowledge of MKS Integrity source and build management system.
  • Experience with Eclipse developer IDE configuration.
  • Experience in MKS Integrity trigger scripting and interfacing.
  • Experience with multiple source code repositories, CVS, Mercurial, MKS Integrity specifically
  • Scripting for automation, unix shells, java script, Pearl, Python
  • An understanding of branching, merging and change package SCM strategies.
    UNIX/Linux knowledge
  • Strong OS and application install, configure administration skills.
  • Understanding of flex and other license servers
